From Award-Winning Tourism to Culinary Success: BEDA and Aceik's Digital Revolution in Brisbane.
Aceik and The Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA) continue to grow their dynamic partnership with the release of the 2024 BNE City Dine Campaign site. This is the latest digital initiative from BEDA and their Digital Experience Platform (DXP) partner Aceik.
The brief
Since mid-2022, BEDA and Aceik have joined forces to craft award winning digital experiences that promote Brisbane and drive economic growth across the region.
Our ongoing partnership with BEDA was recently recognised when the Visit Brisbane website clinched finalist positions in not just one, but three categories at the esteemed 2024 Australian Web Awards! In the end, the Visit Brisbane website won in the Travel and Tourism category.
Building from this success the latest collaborative project saw us take advantage of the headless theme based foundations of the core build to quickly and deliver the 2024 BNE City Dine Campaign site in record time. An annual highlight for Brisbane the program, showcases exclusive events and delicious dining offers from Brisbane's premier restaurants and bars.

The latest collaborative project involved BEDA enlisting Aceik's expertise to create a website supporting the annual BNE City Dine campaign. This initiative, an annual highlight, showcases exclusive events and delicious dining offers from Brisbane's premier restaurants and bars.
Despite a tight schedule and specific requirements, Aceik swiftly conceptualised and executed the website using BEDA’s existing Headless Sitecore XP v10.2 instance on Managed Cloud, coupled with a Next.js front-end deployed on Vercel. Leveraging the foundation laid during BEDA's prior digital endeavors with Aceik in early 2023 - highlighting multi-site theming capabilities and reusable components - enabled Aceik to deliver with remarkable efficiency and precision.
Results
In the first week of the campaign, the website has performed admirably, attracting over 10,000 new visitors, with an impressive 15% conversion rate of visitors engaging in bookings
