Aceik and The Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA) continue to grow their dynamic partnership with the release of the 2024 BNE City Dine Campaign site. This is the latest digital initiative from BEDA and their Digital Experience Platform (DXP) partner Aceik.
Since mid-2022, BEDA and Aceik have joined forces to craft award winning digital experiences that promote Brisbane and drive economic growth across the region.
Our ongoing partnership with BEDA was recently recognised when the Visit Brisbane website clinched finalist positions in not just one, but three categories at the esteemed 2024 Australian Web Awards! In the end, the Visit Brisbane website won in the Travel and Tourism category.
Building from this success the latest collaborative project saw us take advantage of the headless theme based foundations of the core build to quickly and deliver the 2024 BNE City Dine Campaign site in record time. An annual highlight for Brisbane the program, showcases exclusive events and delicious dining offers from Brisbane's premier restaurants and bars.

The Challenge
The latest collaborative project involved BEDA partnering with Aceik to create a website supporting the annual BNE City Dine campaign. This initiative, an annual highlight, showcases exclusive events and delicious dining offers from Brisbane's premier restaurants and bars.
The Way Forward
Leveraging a robust foundation design system, we successfully launched the campaign site within a tight deadline. A focused 5-day design sprint enabled rapid decision-making on aesthetics, content, and user experience, while a bespoke campaign theme brought the brand’s vision to life with impact.
Built on BEDA’s headless Sitecore XP instance with a Next.js front-end deployed on Vercel, the website utilized reusable components and multi-site theming to accelerate delivery.
The scalable foundation architecture facilitated seamless content sharing via a central repository. By simply tagging content, it could be surfaced dynamically across multiple website instances, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and a streamlined content management process.
Impact
The BNE City Dine campaign website achieved exceptional performance results, driving a 51% YoY increase in users and 64% YoY rise in engaged sessions.
